The pattern on this one is the whole point. Cut end-grain, so you're looking at the tree's rings face-on — swirling concentric arcs in light and dark teak, hand-polished until the surface is glass-smooth. It's the board you leave out on the bench, and the one you carry a cake or a cheese course to the table on.
End-grain construction means the knife slips between wood fibres rather than slicing across them, so the surface takes less scarring and stays kinder to your blades. The thickened body sits heavy and stays put, with recessed handles routed into each end for a secure two-handed lift and small non-slip feet underneath to stop it sliding and to keep your benchtop unscratched.
No paint, no wax — just natural teak and a food-safe finish.

Hand wash in warm soapy water and dry upright — never soak a solid wood board, and never put it in the dishwasher. Oil every few weeks with food-grade mineral oil to keep the grain rich and guard against drying or splitting. Small knots and tonal variation are natural characteristics of real timber, not defects.

You'll receive tracking by email the moment your parcel leaves the warehouse.
What is your returns policy?
You have 30 days from the date of delivery to return any unused item for a full refund — longer than the 14-day right of withdrawal guaranteed under EU consumer law. Items must be in original condition with all packaging and tags intact. To start a return, email help@pierrecasaboutique.com with your order number and we'll send you instructions. Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days of us receiving the item.

We accept all major credit and debit cards, along with Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal and Shop Pay. All payments are processed through encrypted, PCI-compliant gateways, and your card details are never stored on our servers. All prices are shown and charged in euro, inclusive of VAT.
Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?
Get in touch as soon as possible at help@pierrecasaboutique.com with your order number. If your order hasn't yet entered processing we can usually amend the shipping address or cancel it outright. Once it's been packed and dispatched we're unable to make changes, but you're still covered by our 30-day returns policy once it arrives.
